.THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN . . .

"The long sleep is over.

For three thousand years I have patiently watched and waited.  The Prophecies foretold the day when the sun would reach out and touch the sun - when my slumber would end, when my dormant glory would blaze once more upon the planet and its people.

That day has arrived.

But there can be no triumph without a battle.  Every civiliazation tells the same story.   Good requires evil; redemption requires sin. The legends are as varied as the civilizations that spawned them -yet each contains a nugget of truthl.

So I am not alone. The Chosen One awaits me. The flare opened the inner eye of the Visionaries, those who can join the Chosen One to prevent my reign. But in order to defeat me, they must first make sense of their visions.

You see, every vision is a piece of a puzzle, a puzzle that will eventually form a picture. . . a picture I will shatter into a billion pieces and reshape in the image of my choosing.

I am prepared. My servants knew of this day. They made the necessary preparations to confuse the Visionaries - all in anticipation of that glorious time when the count down ends and my ancient weapon ushers in ther New Era.

My servants unleashed the plague that reduced the Earth's population to a scattered horde of frightened adolescents. None of these children know how or why their elders and younger perished.

And that was only the beginning.

My servants have descended upon the chaos. They will subvert the Prophecies in order to convert the masses into unknowing slaves. They will hunt down the Visionaries, one by one, until all are dead. They will eliminate the descendants of the Scribes so that none of the Visionaries will learn of the scroll. The hidden codes shall remain hidden. Terrible calamities and natural disasters will wreck havoc upon the earth. Even the Chosen One will be helpless against me.
